"Hogwarts, Hogwarts, Hoggy Warty Hogwarts,
Teach us something please,
Whether we be old and bald
Or young with scabby knees.
Our heads could do with with filling
With some interesting stuff,
For now they're bare and full of air,
Dead flies and bits of fluff.
So teach us things worth knowing,
Bring back what we've forgot.
Just do your best, we'll do the rest,
And learn until our brains all rot.

Arguably the hub of the British wizarding world, Diagon Alley is a bright, bustling collection of apothecaries, pet shops, clothiers, and an ice cream parlor. The infamous joke shop Weasley's Wizard Wheezes takes up residence here as well, flooding the street with wicked laughter and gleeful shouts. And at the end of the street, casting a very large shadow, is the grand wizard bank itself - Gringotts.
Tucked into the shadows off of Diagon Alley is it's more mysterious and unseemly counterpart. Full of untrustworthy hagglers and raspy, snaggle-tooth witches, Knockturn Alley harbors shops rumored to sell all manner of Dark Magic - from cursed objects to potent poisons and banned spellbooks. Perhaps the most infamous of these shops is Borgin and Burkes, where wizards or witches with less than pure intentions can buy - or sell - items of rare and dangerous power.
Platform 9 3/4 - the hidden platform at King's Cross Station that welcomes students onto the Hogwarts Express. On the first of September, the platform is bustling with life - the hooting of owls, calls of friends, and farewells from parents - all while the scarlet engine hisses steam, and patiently waits to whisk students off to Hogwarts School.
